IPF Receives Awards for “Peace Through Parkour” Global Education Initiative

 , a non-profit based in Rome, Italy, presented honors to IPF’s “Peace Through Parkour” Global Education Initiative as well as to IPF co-founders Victor Bevine (IPF President) and David Richard Thompson (IPF Secretary General) for their work.  

Victor Bevine attended the ceremony in Rome, Italy on October 26, 2022 and was presented the award by “Books For Peace” co-founder Professor Antonio Imeneo.  

David Richard Thompson received his award at a later date. 

Among the other recipients was Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Katherine of Serbia who received the 2022 “Books for Peace” International Award, for her work in favor of culture, solidarity, and the promotion of human rights, social activities, and peace.

Bevine said in his acceptance speech, “We are honored to be included amongst such a distinguished assembly of lifelong peace advocates.”  

Thompson later added, “Parkour sport and books both provide the means to help individuals, especially young people, overcome obstacles in life. We are pleased to be recognized for our international efforts.”
