On January 25th-27th, 2019 USA Parkour held its second annual USA Parkour Cup under the aegis of International Parkour Federation (IPF) in Tampa, Florida. In the months leading up to the USA Parkour Cup, hundreds of athletes participated in eleven qualifying competitions across the United States.
The entire event was live streamed and hosted by WFPF athletes Nick Provost and Fernando Arce. Total online audience views of the USA Parkour Cup have reached 300,000 and growing.
The USA Parkour Cup 2019 is proud to have launched many new athletes to the world stage including, Bailey Harter and Jemini Powell, who both qualified at regional competitions in Texas and Georgia, and then went on to win in their divisions at the USA Parkour Cup.
IPF- International Parkour Federation held a forum as part of their PEACE THROUGH PARKOUR initiative speaker’s series. Invited guest athlete Zahid Shah founder/president Kashmir Parkour spoke about Kashmir Parkour and his life as an athlete living in a conflict zone.
WFPF (World Freerunning Parkour Federation) athlete, Vinnie Coryell of MOVE TO INSPIRE, received the 2019 USA Parkour VISIONARY AWARD.
