COURTNEY MUNCH
UNITED STATES (Medical Committee)
Courtney Munch was drawn to science and medicine from an early age. She was able to get internships in the cancer research departments at MD Anderson and The Stehlin Foundation in Houston, Texas during her high school years. She made her way to Amherst College and graduated magna cum laude while playing sports and studying movement. Her fascination with theatre and martial arts lead her to New York City where she began her stunt and acting career. She has worked in film, television and video games for the past 15 years while studying Shaolin Kung Fu, yoga, movement therapy, dynamic neuromuscular therapy, and active release therapy. Several injuries along the way lead her to acupuncture and back to her love of science and medicine. She has just completed her 4 year master’s of acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine from Emperor’s College.
